Levels
Wondering what level our classes are? All of our classes are suitable for most levels. Our instructors are exceptional at clearly cueing each posture and transition to encourage you to feel it in your body. Options will be offered so that you can find the right variation for you.
Beginners are welcome to attend any and all classes. Even beginners may love a good challenge, and steady movers also need a nice, restful practice. We encourage you to schedule in some balance!
Flow
Flow is a dynamically and creatively sequenced class with poses linked together by breath. They range in speed and intensity, but you can be sure you will feel the energy flowing through your body as you settle into your final savasana. Our flow classes are based on and inspired by the fundamentals of yoga asana.
Look out for "HOT" or "WARM" on the schedule to indicate if your class is heated or not.
Attic Flow
Attic Flow is a condensed variation of the rocket sequences by Larry Schultz. The sequences are based on the primary, intermediate and advanced series of ashtanga yoga, but structured in a way that allows the practitioner to adapt the class to their chosen level. Optional challenging poses such as arm balances and inversions are sprinkled throughout the class to challenge those who want it, but the rocket practice is all about connecting with your breath and choosing your own adventure, so it is adaptable for all levels.
You may notice that this is the only class that we label as yoga on the schedule. Although many of our classes are rooted in yoga asana, there is so much more to yoga than movement. Expect some possible meditation, pranayama, and yogic philosophy throughout this practice.
Restorative
This class is all about slowing down your body and mind and letting go of control. Bolsters, blocks and blankets support you into passive, relaxing stretches with holds up to ten minutes. Soothing ambient music, relaxing aromatherapy, and optional hands-on adjustments are all used to help you reach full relaxation.
Mat Pilates
Pilates is a method of exercise that consists of low-impact flexibility and muscular strength and endurance movements. Pilates emphasizes proper postural alignment, core strength and muscle balance. Pilates is named for its creator, Joseph Pilates, who developed the exercises in the 1920s.
Yin
In today's yang/fast-paced world, the need becomes greater to slow down and find some yin balance. In this class, we take a little bit longer to breathe and settle into each floor pose, generally spending 3 to 5 minutes in each one. This allows us to move into our parasympathetic nervous system, slow down the heart rate, and get deeper into our connective tissue.
In our yin yang class, expect this same style for half the class with a more dynamic slow flow either before of after.
Look out for "HOT" or "WARM" on the schedule to indicate if your class is heated or not.
Barre
A super fun fusion of ballet and pilates. No, you don't have to have been a ballerina in a former life, or even flexible. This low- impact workout has big results. Expect a full body workout, a little cardio. No equipment is required, however adding in light hand weights and a resistance band can enhance the challenge.
Reformer
A full body, low impact workout using a spring-based reformer machine to build strength, stability, and control that pairs well with your Pilates mat work. Fully adjustable for all levels, from complete beginners to experienced movers. Expect to feel it everywhere, in the best possible way. The feedback the reformer provides will tell you what you need to know to improve your alignment and posture.
Raise the Barre
A fun, upbeat cardio class inspired by a fusion of barre class without the barres and sculpt. Option to use light weights with repetitive movements to increase the intensity, or lose the weights and use body resistance. Either way, be prepared to sweat, make some noise and have a great time.
Posture revival
Move slowly and intentionally while giving some love to areas that may be achey from sitting at a desk all week. Expect some functional movement and use of therapy balls to release connective tissues.
Kickboxing
Kickboxing is a high energy, full body class that combines partner work with structured repetition to build real strength, stamina, and technique. You’ll work through a progressive sequence of punches and kicks, learning proper form and building power with every round. Partner drills add an element of connection, accountability, and fun that makes the hard work feel less like a workout and more like an experience. Whether you’re stepping into a class like this for the first time or looking to sharpen your technique, Kickboxing is equal parts empowering and addictive. Leave feeling strong, capable, and like you could take on anything.
Warm slow flow
Music and ambience set just right to leave behind your day and set yourself right for your evening. Slow movement with breath will guide you through a moving meditation. Choose your pace and honour what your body is asking for at the end of the day.
Sculpt
Sculpt is a full body strength class that uses light weights and high repetition to tone, define, and strengthen from head to toe. Expect targeted sequences that challenge your muscles to fatigue through controlled, intentional movement...no heavy lifting required. Set to motivating music and designed to be accessible for all fitness levels, Sculpt builds lean strength and leaves you with that satisfying burn that lets you know you showed up. Whether you’re new to strength training or looking to complement your existing practice, this class delivers results you’ll feel the next day.
